This scholarship is ONLY for students from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries.

Important: You must be from an eligible Commonwealth country. EU countries are NOT eligible.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
- Must be a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country
- OR have refugee status from a Commonwealth country
- Must be living permanently in that country
2. Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree completed (3-4 years)
- Degree classification: First class OR Upper second class (2:1)
- If you have lower second class (2:2), you need a Master’s degree
3. Financial Need
- You must be unable to afford UK study without this scholarship
- This is a strict requirement
- Cannot be living or studying in a rich country
4. Mobility Requirement
- Must NOT have studied or worked in a high-income country for 1 year or more
- Cannot have lived in UK/USA/Canada/Australia for more than 1 year
5. Age Limit
- No age restriction
- Open to all ages
6. English Language
- IELTS: 6.5-7.0 minimum (depends on university)
- TOEFL iBT: 90-100 minimum
- Other tests accepted
- Valid within 2 years
